In the face of the outbreak of the COVID-19, JLUAT responded quickly with the highest standardsand the strictest requirements, and made every effort to strengthen a strong campus security line.

Give play to the effectiveness of the system

We have been regarding epidemic prevention and control as an important political task with top priority. After the campus was completely closed, we immediately set up the front headquarters of campus closed management for campus closed management command and emergency response. In accordance with key epidemic preventionpoints, the headquarters formulated 12 measures for epidemic prevention and control on campus, adjusted the accommodation for personnel, and reserved anti epidemic materials. We suspended 42 commercial street shops and evacuated 230 commercial service personnel. During the epidemic, a total of over 400 people, including major university leaders, general party branch secretaries at the grassroots level, league cadres, and security, medical, service and security personnel, lived on campus for office. All teachers, students and staff strictly implemented the "daily report" and "zero report" system to ensure the life order and safety on campus.

Transfer responsibility pressure

The University Party Committee strengthened the epidemic prevention and control measures with high standards, and established a four-level joint prevention and control system of "University Party Committee - General Party Branch - Party Branch - Party Member". The University Party Committee required that secretaries at all levels should take the initiative to assume the responsibility for epidemic prevention and control with a great sense of mission, playing the role of "five models" and "six leads". We successfully completed multiple rounds of nucleic acid testing and antigen self testing. Up to now, the results of all teachers, students and staff on campus are negative.

Improve the combat effectiveness of Party members

In the face of the epidemic, the University Party Committee issued the mobilization order for epidemic prevention at the first time. The grass-roots Party organizations and all Party members of the university acted quickly to formulate plans in time, and establish the responsibility system, and shouldered the responsibility for epidemic prevention and control. During the closure of the campus, the University Party Committee led the establishment of two temporary party branches and 26 party member commandos, set up 103 pioneer posts of Party members and divided 106 responsibility areas of Party members. A total of 30 grass-roots party organizations, 345 faculty members and 523 student party members fought in the front line of campus epidemic prevention and control, giving full play to the role of the party organization as a battleground and model party members, and promoting the orderly implementation of epidemic prevention and control.Build "Fourfold" support forces

Sound isolation control guarantee mechanism. We strictly implement zoning management, and accurately manage the "three zones" of isolation zone, control zone and prevention zone. For key populations, we immediately assist the local epidemic prevention and control department to transfer them to the designated isolation location quickly, timely and safely.Timely campus disinfection and sterilization and safety inspection. For "full coverage and no dead space", we disinfect important places in an all-round way and keep on duty 24 hours a day. Besides, we strictly implement the campus gate control and temperature detection, and check the personnel and vehicles entering and leaving the campus to create a safe environment for teachers and students.

Adequate material reserve and food supply. We set up a supply guarantee team for epidemic prevention and control materials, complying with the regulations on the procurement and supply management of anti epidemic materials, food and living materials. The team is responsible for non-contact distribution of materials to ensure the mobilization, receiving, distribution, recycling of protective equipment and adequate supply of daily life.

Unhindered information release and feedback channels. We establish channels for teachers, students and staff to release information, and open the “telephone and mailbox for epidemic prevention and control advice” to collect the opinions and suggestions of teachers and students. We improve our work in time and provide better services for teachers and students.

Gather teachers’ joint effortsAll teachers strictly implement the online teaching management regulations of the 2022 new semester,and actively explore online teaching methods such as online classroom and online teaching for high quality teaching. The Academic Affairs Office print and distribute the “Online Teaching Service Tips (Edition for Students)” with 15 items for how to handle various educational affairs during online teaching, providing students with comprehensive and detailed answers. For special student groups such as volunteers for epidemic prevention and control and isolated and closed students, we issue the “Notice on care and assistance for special group students during epidemic prevention and control” to fully understand the status of each student, ensuring “not leaving one person and one lesson behind”.

All the mental health teachers in the college students’ health education and counseling center adhere to the “24 hours a day” duty system. We strive to maintain the mental health of teachers and students on campus to build up their psychological protective wall through "Six Ones" method, namely build one good team, make good use of one card, set up one good platform, conduct one good troubleshooting, run one good hotline, and provide one good course.

Organize volunteer service

We build a volunteer service team with military color and high executive ability based on the framework of retired soldiers. During the epidemic period, all students in the reserve team rushed ahead, and successfully completed the task of organizing students returning to school and five rounds of nucleic acids on campus. The Youth League Committee of the University actively organized the youth commando for epidemic prevention and control. Hundreds of students wrote letters of invitation to join the ranks of volunteers, contributing their youth strengthto the prevention and control of epidemic situation on campus.

In the future, we will continue to strictly implement the requirements for epidemic prevention and control, and scientifically strengthen epidemic prevention and control measures in accordance with laws to curb the spread of the epidemic to the campus, ensuring the life safety and health of all teachers and students and making contributions to the anti epidemic struggle of Jilin Province.
