The Alliance between Universities in Northeast China, the Far East and Siberia Regions of Russia was initiated and established in September 2012 by the Northeast Agricultural University and Pacific National University of Russia. As of September 2023, there are 63 Chinese member universities and 27 Russian member universities.

 

On September 25-27, Jiang Hua, the Director of the Office of Foreign Affairs of JLUAT, and Liu Ruiyu, a staff member, were invited to participate in the 13th Forum of University Presidents in Northeast China and the Far East and Siberia of Russia in Harbin, Heilongjiang Province, China. Also, they submitted their application to join the alliance and received the admission notice on December 1.

 

Joining the Alliance between Universities in Northeast China and the Far East and Siberia Regions of Russia means that JLUAT will deepen cooperation with Russian universities, enhance our international influence, and contribute to the friendly relationship between China and Russia.
