On September 27, 2023, Fan Xiaoqian, General Manager of the Global Enterprise Training and Certification Department of Huawei Technology Co., Ltd., and Chen Yitian, Chairman of Jilin University of Architecture and Technology, signed a comprehensive strategic framework cooperation agreement at Huawei's Shenzhen Bantian headquarters to jointly build Huawei Modern Industry College, which is Huawei Technology Co., Ltd.'s first Modern Industry College in the "Three Provinces and One Autonomous Region" of Northeast China.

 

On the day of the signing ceremony, the delegates from Jilin University of Architecture and Technology visited Huawei's southern factory production line, Songshan Lake R&D Base, Sanyapo - Huawei University Library, Huawei Exhibition Hall, and other places. Afterward, the two sides jointly held a school-enterprise cooperation symposium and had in-depth exchanges on their developments, specific details of school-enterprise cooperation, and future directions for development.

Jilin University of Architecture and Technology maintains a close relationship with Huawei Technology Co., Ltd.. We have conducted in-depth cooperation in industry and education, collaborative education, discipline and innovation and entrepreneurship competitions, and implementation of campus informatization. Guided by the national innovation-driven development strategy, the digital China construction plan, and the strategy of revitalizing the old industrial base in Northeast China, the cooperation between the two sides is becoming increasingly close, with vast space and great potential. To this end, both sides have developed a comprehensive strategic partnership based on existing cooperation and signed a strategic cooperation agreement to guide and deepen the next cooperative step.  

 

According to the agreement, both parties adhere to the guiding principle of complementary advantages, mutual benefit and development, and long-term stability, actively leverage their respective advantages, and carry out in-depth cooperation in various aspects such as scientific and technological innovation cooperation, talent joint training, construction of the Modern Industry College, and promoting education digitization. Together, they promote the construction of high-level applied private universities with Chinese characteristics and world-class enterprises with global competitiveness, creating a new model for industry-university-research cooperation.
