JLUAT Approved for 3 Provincial Achievements
Recently, the Jilin Provincial Department of Education released the "Notice on the List of the Second Batch of Provincial Course Ideology Demonstration Project", and our university has been approved for 3 achievements. Among them, the "Jilin University of Architecture and Technology Course Ideology Teaching Research Center" was approved as a provincial course ideology teaching research demonstration center, and the courses "Advanced Mathematics A" and "Pumps and Pump Stations" were approved as provincial course ideology demonstration courses. In this selection of provincial course ideology demonstration projects, the number of achievements approved by our university is among the top in similar institutions in the province.
For a long time, we have always adhered to the fundamental task of cultivating morality and talent, and has comprehensively and vigorously promoted the reform and construction of course ideology. We have formulated and issued the "Pilot Work Plan for Course Ideology Teaching Reform" and the "Implementation Methods for Course Ideology Construction", established the Course Ideology Teaching Research Center, clarified the guiding ideology and work goals of course ideology construction, and detailed the construction content and measures; refined the school's own characteristic "6 general + 3 characteristic" course ideology element structure system, corresponding the ideology elements with various professional courses, providing references for teachers to deeply explore course ideology elements and promote the organic integration of ideology elements into education and teaching; fully promoted the project to improve the political literacy of teachers, made full use of various means such as online and offline training, conference discussions, and observation learning to continuously improve teachers' educational abilities and levels; strongly supported teachers to carry out course ideology teaching reform, actively organized various levels of course ideology project selection, recommendation, construction, and acceptance, etc.; jointly built "Course Ideology Resource Library Cloud Platform" with professional companies, providing teachers with rich course ideology resources, and realizing the joint construction, use, and sharing of course ideology resources. Through a series of reforms, it has effectively stimulated the motivation of various teaching units and teachers to actively carry out course ideology reform, cultivated a number of professional courses with significant educational effects, formed a number of course ideology demonstration classrooms, and accumulated a series of successful experiences in course ideology education and teaching reform. The approval of this provincial course ideology demonstration project is of great practical guidance significance for the school to continue to promote course ideology reform and accelerate the formation of a good working situation where "every course has ideology, every course has characteristics, and everyone emphasizes education". Next, the we will take the provincial course ideology teaching research demonstration center as the carrier, take the provincial course ideology demonstration courses as the traction, fully play the leading and radiating role of course ideology demonstration projects, tightly grasp the "main force" of the teacher team, the "main battlefield" of course construction, and the "main channel" of classroom teaching, further improve the construction of course ideology teaching system, promote the organic and in-depth integration of ideological and political education and professional education, promote our course ideology construction to a new level, continuously achieve new results, and help the continuous improvement of our education and teaching quality and the level of applied talent cultivation.
